Instructions are accepted from agents throughout Scotland, not only from the central belt. A Glasgow base does not limit the practice's reach: with travel arranged for in-person assessment where that is required, and secure video assessment available where it is not, distance from Glasgow is rarely a reason to look elsewhere for a psychiatric expert witness.

Aberdeen and Dundee
Instructions from Aberdeen and Dundee agents are accepted on the same basis as any other Scottish instruction. Dr Qureshi's postgraduate training included time at the University of Aberdeen, and travel to the north-east for assessment or proof is arranged where an in-person appointment is preferred over a remote one.
Inverness and the Highlands
For examinees in Inverness and across the Highlands, a remote assessment by secure video is usually proposed in the first instance, given the travel distances involved. Where the clinical questions require an in-person examination — for example where capacity or cognition is in issue — in-person travel is arranged and factored into the fee estimate and timetable agreed at instruction.
The Borders
Instructions from Borders agents are usually more conveniently served from Edinburgh than from Glasgow; see the Edinburgh page for the arrangements that generally apply. Remote assessment remains available as an alternative where it suits the examinee and the case timetable.
Highlands and Islands
For Orkney, Shetland, the Western Isles and other island communities, remote assessment by secure video is the practical default, avoiding the delay and cost of ferry or air travel for what is often a single appointment. See remote assessments for how this is arranged and when it is not suitable.
