Accessibility
This site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. Pages are built as plain, server-rendered documents: semantic headings, real links, visible focus states, text that reflows at 400% zoom, and colour contrast that meets the AA threshold throughout.
What is in place
- A single H1 on each page and a logical heading order beneath it.
- Keyboard access to every link, form field and control, with a visible focus ring.
- Descriptive link text rather than “click here”.
- Form labels tied to their inputs, with errors described in text, not colour alone.
- No CAPTCHA that blocks assistive technology; the enquiry form uses a hidden honeypot.
- No auto-playing media, carousels or motion that cannot be stopped.
Known limitations
Some downloadable material may be supplied as PDF by the instructing agent; those documents are outside the practice’s control. If a page or document is unusable for you, an accessible alternative will be provided on request.
Adjustments at assessment
Reasonable adjustments are made for examinees at the assessment itself, including ground floor and step-free venues, longer or split appointments, interpreters, quieter times of day, and the presence of a supporter where appropriate. Tell the instructing agent what is needed when the appointment is arranged.
